They forsook all to follow Christ; and they received His word and testimony, set their whole confidence upon it, and that is what St. John sets before us as the mark of perfect love. “Whoso keepeth His Word, in him verily is the love of God perfected.” Let me say this for your comfort: the love and the faith of these disciples for whom
